So from my understanding what happened with the previous mod (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) is

 

1. Scripts

2. Having to model each individual armor model

 

Solutions

1. The scripts shouldn't be too hard because I believe even on the mod page someone redid the scripts

 

2. Obviously, it's not practical to do all the various armors on the Nexus so what I was thinking why doesn't the body model be replaced during the dismemberment with a dissected corpse such as with magic dismemberment mods? As long as it's not made that jarring it should in theory work and would work like this example at 0:20, 0:29 or 0:55 in this video from Witcher 3

I was thinking for a replacer along the lines like separating the skeletons of mods such as these to create a generic dismembered body

While not perfect or at the Fallout 4 level of dismemberment it would at least make it a bit more practical than having to model every individual armor. I was also thinking something along the lines of maybe a patcher like DSR but I'm not sure how they work or what their fully capable of.

 

Anyways these were just some ideas to get the ol' brain juices flowing for that future modder who will be forever immortalized for bringing dismemberment back into Skyrim. If anyone wants to critique or share somewhere please do. The more awareness the better because it may inspire someone to make it a reality.

it's good, but it does require time and investment, i myself, started to learn CK and go after old modders to get permission to learn about their work and apply in good ideias for the game. for someone who has already some knowedge on scripting, your ideia might be a good tricky way to reach what you want. but you could might try, and see if you could get permission for the necessary resources to work around what you want.

I tried reaching the original modder but unfortunately, he can't receive messages and I don't even know where to start as I'm an amateur with the CK myself. That's why I was trying to pitch it here and see what comes up.
