You can now download a ver 4.01 esp on the Vilja-page, where the problem has been corrected. I will later upload a full ver 4.01.
Arthmoor, as this problem probably will arise again, with other mods, let me explain what was the issue with Vilja so that you can help mod authors that are posting here.
The author of Sofia, who previously had similar problems, put us on the right track when he said I needed to change all dialog conditions on IsSneaking and ensure that they are put below the condition GetIsID.
Well, this is not really necessary, we made a test-mod to test this out (much faster than editing the whole Vilja-mod). BUT if you by accident happen to use the dialog conditoin IsSneaking and run it on TARGET, then you will have a problem with the activators, at least if it is above the condition GetIsID.
I had happened to by mistake set the condition ISSneaking to check for target. One little dialog entry with this mistake, and it caused this huge issue, which by the way affects Talking activators in general and not just your talking activator.
The weird thing, though, is that I have reports from several players who have not had the slightest problem with Vilja ver 4.0 and talking activators. I sincerely don't know why, but they can't reproduce the problem. Whereas the majority (I think) has this problem.
Upgrading to ver 4.01 midgame shouldn't cause any problems at all, as the only thing changed is dialog conditions, no scripts, nothing.

Everything is fine with the statue of Mara in this great mod!
Other mods can cause immediate CTDs if they check any Talking Activator for IsSneaking.
This can happen:
1. if the dialogue IsSneaking condition is run on Target (T). It's the player's target (the Talking Activator) if the condition is placed on top of the GetIsID of the Speaker. The CTDs are not consistent because the target (the statue) is not always found. IsSneaking run on the subject(S) or the player (PL) doesn't cause any issues although it's on the top of the list.
2. if the Talking Activator is put into an alias that is filled with the Closest Reference and is then checked for IsSneaking by another instance.
3. if the reference of the Talking Activator is caught by the script function Game.FindClosestActor... and this reference is checked for IsSneaking.
Although a statue is not supposed to be sneaking in the game, it doesn't cause any CTD if the statue is checked for IsRidingMount
Thank you for your help.
