T-Pose bug AFTER patching FNIS? (Long post, be warned)

Okay so...

I decided to come back to Skyrim! And after much consideration about the reasons I stopped playing (Patchus Maximus taking too long, tired of running into conflicts), I decided to start from scratch, I deleted everything about Skyrim, but kept my mods.

Deleted all patches (FNIS, ASIS, PAMA, DSR) and resintalled Skyrim from scratch. Using NMM of course, not MO.

After all this was done, I cleaned my master files with TES5 Edit, and installed my mods.

Did the workaround, installed every single mod, updated a few and kept them all in the right order with LOOT.

Ran DSR, then FNIS, then PAMA and got rid of ASIS (sad but I don't want to have to run all the patches once more, seems to take hours just to begin playing)

...Still, my characters are stuck in T-Pose. All of them. Including creatures.

So I'm asking for help here since I can't seem to find a way to work around it.

Yes, I have Realistic Ragdolls and force, XP32 Maximum Skeleton AND Extended version, FNIS Creatures and Spells. Yes, I did run for consistency errors and the only "error" falls into the Momo Acrobatic jump included in the XP32 Animation package. Which I've dealt with before and has not caused me any T-Pose errors before. Will delete and retry in a few minutes.

Now I'll post my load order, and my FNIS list so you guys can see if there's any errors off the bat.

I really don't see how I messed up here, I literally just started a new game with "Live another Life" so the common early game wagon bug is not present.

Everything seems to be running smoothly so far (in my little prison cell), physics, characters, mods.

But my character is in a T-Pose.

I did reload to another save where I am in Breezehome and exited to check, and yes, Everyone else is ALSO in a T-Pose.

Please help this idiot noob a little.

And for those who read this whole annoying post from some stranger on the internet. I thank you.

Please let me know anything I can do to repay you for the assistance.

TL;DR : Characters stuck in T-POSE after running FNIS, above load order and FNIS behavior update.

Your writing al LONG post. But it's at the wrong place "General Skyrim Discussion" and I found it only because I'm regularly searching for FNSI.

And you are imprecise and contradictory at the most important part. What is in t-pose:

"my character" (only the player)?

"my characterS" (player and NPCs, player and followers)?

or all actors, including creatures?

Edited for future readers. By "my characters" I intended to say ALL characters. And creatures

Also, whoops! I thought this would be the place since its about technical support.

Let me know if I'm doing something else wrong, thanks!

So I got Rid of the XP32 Animation package and it was fixed.

If that's alright I would still appreciate knowing WHY this is happening. I'd like to have the Acrobatic jump and the 1h/2h animations, they're pretty neat.

No, that's impossible.

I wouldn't know why that should cause a general character t-pose. And a fix of of the t-pose when it is removed. But xp32 has NEVER done anything related to creatures, and they have independent behaviors.

What I see that you have the PCEA esps installed, but you haven't ticked the PCEA patch for FNIS. That would explain the problem for all characters with vanilla race. But not the creatures.

Maybe I'm mistaken? As far as I could tell everything was just standing.

Since it is "fixed" I guess it is not important anymore. Now I just gotta figure out what I did wrong since the animation pack is not working at all, after Patching FNIS. Probably installed wrong my Xp32 and FNIS.

Gonna reinstall and check. Although I appreciate your assistance fore :)! Thanks for such amazing mods.

No, you are not mistaken. You rather don't seem to understand what I told you. And you tell things that can't be right.

Your load order shows files from PCEA, like "PC Exclusive Animation Path - WoodElf.esp". Probably a remainder from your previous installation. However, I don't see the PCEA patch ticked for your FNIS generation. THis causes t-pose for all VANILLA race characters. Because these esp files redirect the behaviors to the PCEA provided ones. However, because you didn't patch PCEA, FNIS did not do the last step of connecting PCEA behaviors and PCEA animations. Which causes t-pose for the most common character nimations, but not for all.

But it does not explain creature t-pose.

Well, you know. I think I WAS mistaken, I managed to test a couple animals and they're working fine now. (I reinstalled XPMS and FNIS)

But yes, I did tick the PCEA patch and it removed all T-Pose. Should I just remove ALL the .esp's related to PCEA?

I've been testing different reasons it could be (with my illiterate brain) and I just can't seem to find it. To make matters worse I cannot seem to figure out either why I messed up my XP32 Animation package... Lol Resintalled Ragdollas/Xpms/Xpmse/DSR and FNIS but I can't fix this problem now. Oh well live and learn.

It's all so complicated, I thought I could do this by deleting my Skyrim game, all saves and restarting AFTER reinstalling all my mods.

sadface. I guess it is just a lot more complex than that.

Maybe you should start reading the old PCEA instructions? :D

Of course, if you want to use PCEA then you must NOT remove it's esp files.

And when you want help why your "xp32 animation pack is not working at all" then you need to describe IN DETAIL what you did and what is wrong. But again that's maybe another issue because you didn't read the PCEA installation instructions.

With PCEA your character has to have a CUSTOM race. Because under PCEA only CUSTOM races will play the custom animations that you install. All vanilla race NPCs will play the vanilla animations which are found under animations/PCEA.

I don't recall installing the PCEA to be honest (LOL), then again I did tick the patch without thinking about it... maybe that's part of the problem.

I know mod creators have lots of experience and knowledge regarding this extensions but I just know what I can google from and learn from youtube/forums/previous issues. Sorry if I sound dumb.

I did not want to use any custom races so I deleted my esp files related to PCEA. So that takes care of that, "everything's" fixed, all animations are working properly and I have learnt a new thing regarding leftover files in my Skyrim folder

Also.. I thought I explained it very thoroughly. Was I missing perhaps order of installation? I legit went into the game and saw EVERY single person in Whiterun in a T-Pose. I guess I did assume the creature part because I saw a horse standing still not moving. I appreciate the input, I don't wanna sound like "that idiot guy" who asks really dumb questions without knowing jack s#*!.

I started playing for around half an hour until I my game CTD and well, I guess that's a topic for another post. Another time.

I had enough of scrambling mods for a few days.

Thanks again Fore, I'll make sure to provide my support.
