Hello guys, i've been using this tool called Optimizer Textures (Ordenador) that you can find here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D12801%26preview%3D&pUp=1 for a long time in Skyrim 32 bit version (oldrim) and l gotta admit that tool help me a lot, like really lot for optimizing my game because my graphic card only have 1GB of VRAM so i usually divided the texture that is more than 2K because for my PC/monitor anything above 2K is meaningless and only make the game heavier/stutter.

but unfortunately the tool can't be used for Skyrim Special Edition, when i optimize the texture my games always crash.

i didn't even use the feature that compress the files & change the image files, i only use the rezise down texture but it still crashes.

My question is can this tool be used for SSE? or is there any tool that function like this for SSE? because i really needed this to play the game with mods

Hello. I'm not sure if this will help you in anyway. I use a 3 year old laptop from Wal Mart (450 in oct 2014) to play skyrim special edtion.

After loot and wyrebash......Using BethIni to optimize skyrim special edition. I have 150 mods installed including Noble skyrim 2k, rugnarok, populated skyrim hell edition, etc. I have played for hours and only 1 crash. I hope BethIni can be of help to you as well.

thanks! that seems promising, i'll try this right now. but still i need some software to downgrade my texture because the main problem is the stuttering i have because the lack of VRAM, you know when you download texture mods in nexus, people are usually giving options which resolution to download from 1k to 4k, but there are some mods that is only available at 4k and i need to downgrade that 4k res to 2k.. i wish that optimizer textures work for SSE..

Alright. I've been using this as well... However, it only seems to work with older textures from Skyrim which have been ported like Skins, noble 2k and a few. However, it seems to run into a few deal breakers like majestic mountains and a few other new type of textures. There is something about Majestic Mountain's textures which keep it from working with orendator. Anyway, I definitely suggest using it to optimize your game, but be careful, because it still has issues.
