I realize I posted this in the wrong. I apologize sincerely. I've moved it to the appropriate area.

Though, I am curious as to how games like Skyrim, etc. run comparing a Xbox to a PC or other. For example, does the game run smoother on Xbox then PC?

consoles are built too run game at the lowest any pc can run the game 10 times better than console for half the price even

a console usually runs games as good as an old pc with2gb ram and windows vista

That isn't exactly true. Something like an old dual core Intel CPU, 2GB of system RAM, and some ancient GPU will not be able to play most modern games. Also, the current gen consoles are better than that as well.

PC hardware is also not really half the price of a console if you're buying new hardware, but it can be slightly more expensive than a console while exceeding the consoles performance. If you buy used hardware though, or just upgrade something like an old pre-built that's a different story. You can build a very cheap used parts PC that beats consoles every time.

that i meant is like any pc can beat it no matter how bad its

a console is just built too barly handle a game with maybe 15fps max

but also there boons and cons witha ll systems

As weak as consoles are, I do think you're downplaying their strengths. They can hold framerates well above 15fps most of the time - and there are plenty of PC's a console can beat if the goal is to match the same settings and resolution.

i can give examples of games consoles cant do

SKyrim se

dark souls 3

ESO

skyrim se (se on consoles are just lite of the real thing ) can barly go over 10 fps on consoles even with mods boosting fps you dont really get much more than 14 fps

and what strenghts

they are built too be compared too low grade pc

I don't think you actually know what 10fps is really like if you think that's the framerate they're getting. I've seen the actual data of what they get in terms of fps and it's not that low. The same applies to all of the games you've listed. I'm not trying to argue with you or anything, but there is actual data out there that shows you're wrong when it comes to performance. It's obvious a PC could do better than a console in all of those games, all while looking better as well, but they do better than you say they do.

I don't own an Xbox One, and I also don't own Skyrim Special Edition on console. I am certain it is not running at 10fps though. Maybe it runs poorly if you try to mod your game, but judging by what console users seem to gravitate towards when they mod it's not really a surprise. More polygons and higher resolution textures are going to hurt performance. It's especially bad when there isn't very much head room to begin with.

Edit: I don't want to spam this thread with stuff that is beginning to veer way off topic - so if you want to keep this conversation going you can just DM me.
