ZenraNukenin Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Could someone with experience altering the sounds of this game create a mod that removes all exterior sounds while in space (freighters warping in, laser fire that DOESN'T impact your starship, etc)? I feel like it would be a simple matter of removing the associated files, or replacing them with silent files, but before I spend time acquiring the necessary programs and learning what to do, I thought I would ask members already in possession of such software and skills. Since this is all I really want to change about the game, I don't feel like learning this would be a good use of my time (97% learning, 3% work), but to someone who already knows, this would be a chance to put your hard-earned skills to use.
