I feel that my pc should be running better than it is, could anyone offer any suggestions to what I should upgrade to increase the performance or should I just buy a whole new pc?

here are my specs:

Processor - Intel{R) Core i7-3770k CPU @ 3.50GHz, 4 Core(s)

RAM - 16GB

Graphics Card - Zotac GeForce GTX 970 (4GB, DDR5, 256 Bit)

MotherBoard - Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. H61M-S2PV

If you need me list any other parts let me know but there the essentials I guess, any help is welcome thankyou.

Well I had the same issue what should I do with my 5 year old rig, which have been update along the road.

So I got my Pc nerd of a friend too long in too it and his solution, well thoose 1000 euro is the best spend money.

I had MSI motherboard P55

970 gts 4bg grafikcard

8 gb Ram

2 very old harddrives

I7 2.8 ghz 4 cores processor.

and a 800 powersuply.

Now we kept the grafikcard and powersuply

but upgrade the motherboard too a highend MSI B250 pc mate. I7 6700 4ghz 8mb HD530 95W Processor. Cruial Ballistix Sport DDR 4-2400 16B RAM.

and the best part which will boost your rig insanely is the harddrives. I read over and over by a SSD, yes that is correct but If you have a motherboard that support M2-SSD

By one of thoose it's writes with the double speed of an standard pro SSD. It just so fun too push the start button and see how fast it load win 10 usely 15 too 20 sec.
