Help with custom complexion texture

So, I was trying to create a custom complexion for my Sara. I believe I'm on the right track, the texture does show up in game. However, this is what it looks like:

As you can see, the face texture is darker and red. I guess it has something to do with one of the texture files. Any idea what the problem could be?

custom saras have a tint color applied to their faces, so u need to keep the face texture the same color as the original basically, otherwise its going to completely throw off the tinting process as u can see.

How do you mean? The tint of the skin color or something else? Because I didn't touch the skin color.

I'm not sure this is what's happening for you but I had a similar issue except my face was blue. It happened when I edited my normal map and saved it but somehow the normal saved as a different color than the blue it should be

Nope, that wasn't it. Neither was it the mask or sss files. It's the diffuse map that won't cooperate.
