[Silverfishstix]

I've been having an issue where my game always, without fail, crashes anywhere between the Bethesda logo and the Copyright info upon startup. I have a NVIDIA graphics card, and I've tried using both "Nvidia d3d9 perf fix" files, with no success. On top of that, I play a lot of games that require the latest version of the NVIDIA Geforce driver, so reverting to an older version of my driver is out of the question. Pls help

This is almost certainly a "missing master" problem.  Unfortunately that can also be caused by a bad sort of your "load order".  Please see the 'Issue: Vanilla game Hangs on startup' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.  If that doesn't fix it, look at the other solutions presented in that 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' section of the article.
