nenina Posted July 20, 2017 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Is this a Skyrim bug that was never fixed? I have a save in a rainstorm, modded. Upon load the rain looks and sounds great... until the vanilla thunder sound plays. When that happens the rain sound loop seems like it's attenuated, losing over 50% sound volume for the rest of the rainstorm. Prior to the save I used Mod Organizer to perform the following operations: *installed Skyrim Complete Weather Overhaul which claims to improve vanilla weather*Used Downpour - True Storms Edition to override rain texture*Set thunder sounds from Skyrim Complete Weather Overhaul to hidden to try to sidestep the attenuation problem*Installed Wonders of Weather and set rain splash effect to Heavy setting*Took rain sound loops from True Storms and SCWO, renamed them to match vanilla sounds, and used them to override Any modders know what might be causing rain sound to lower volume upon thunder sound?
