i've been trying to get a load order with maximum fun and minimal crashes only to have spent the last year in loading screens and slamming my head up against a wall. if someone could please help and just tell me what order these should be in and if any are just flat-out not compatable, i'll be forever in your debt. here are my mods in the order that i installed them, and yes i have the dlc, nmm, f4se, and reshade. also, i've got about 8 more i'm adding to this list once i find them again.

You do not have a good rig to run that amount of mods and I can see that you made the same mistake that I did when I started playing this game : quantity over quality mods .... fallout 4 is very demanding and you should either choose only those mods that you really need to play your game or have a better rig and even with my rig : Nvidia Geforce 1070, 16gb RAM, i7-6600 and 1tb SSD, I do not think that my game will run smooth with such amount of mods like you have.

I only have 80 and I am planning to add 1 more whenever the author of that mod finish it. Initially I started with 120 mods and I got rid of 40 that were not really necessary for my game style.

Do your load order from the top, this time ask yourself " is it necessary", or is the mechanic actually already covered in game.

I would refrain from using worldspace edits and the 4k dlc as they do more bad than good. Modders, and devs for that matter, go through all kinds of devious hoops to get those new roofs to stay in Sanctuary, have npc's sandbox naturally, spawn enemies or making sure you can scrap something. The engine is a dying horse, it can only take so much abuse.

At the very least you are planning for microstutter, lag and maybe even a bloated save.

I'm not saying this following load order is perfect, i'm just saying that i have spend 1700-1800 hours fine tuning and testing it, So it should at least give you an idea about the structure of a stable load order. Everything has been run trough loot, then wrye and then fo4edit at least 30 times. I'm pretty sure this is as clean as it gets without me beginning to cut stuff from mods myself or playing the game vanilla. No vis tags missing(still leaning) on anything but a very few weapons, all custom animations for the weapons, no levellist conflict if you do no install the m14. And if you do not wanna be able to craft weapons yourself, you can just skip all the awckr patches, as they are pretty much just for me to test out the weapons. All logical workshop points snaps. Companions react like you would want them too, vendors sell actual useful stuff. There are some eye candy there too. Nothing breaks the lore too much+ a few surprises.

Except a small detail i the workshop installation section, this is also pretty much how it should be installed. If you feel like trying this out, *Workshop rearranged needs to be installed first, then *Masterplan, then a patch from *Masterplans page. *Vacidils item sorting should go after all the workshop items but you might just wanna install it as one of the first things and move it to it's place as you go. Read the description of all mods twice and trice before downloading, check the patches section for every single mod and see if anything fits into your setup.

If you skip the *Cbbe part, and you might wanna do that for simplicity until you have the gameplay nailed down, be aware that all the armors/clothing go out the window, so does some of the *Better Settlers plugins and *Wasteland heroines, as they are tuned for *Cbbe in the *Bodyslide addon. Many of them can luckily be found as a vanilla file as well.

And you really as a minium should use/read the beginners guide regarding the combined use of wrye, loot, foedit, placed on top of the troubleshoot section, because a select few of these files require cleaning and sorting. You can learn this in about 10-20 minutes.

And lastly, most modders can't even finish their homework, yet alone have the stamina/money/time to test and maintain a complex mod, and hubris is a pretty common trait with these people, so everything they come up with is the next sliced bread, It's really not. But there ARE some really talented people making good stable mods, and you should find a way to support their scripting.

Edit. I forgot to mention the test cycle. Install max 5 mods at a time, test them as intensive as you possible can. Install the next 5 mods, test them alone and up against the previously 5, install a few more and then really test ALL of them them for a few hours. Move stuff around in the loadorder as necessary. Rinse and repeat. There is something called "coc qasmoke" that you can bring up with console, it is really good for testing inventory.

Levellist you test by setting you level( player.setlevel 5) to 5 then spawn in 40 raiders and 40 something else and let them fight it out. Set you level to 10 and rinse and repeat, and so on until you are satisfied with the weapon rates/spawns on enemies. Npc spawn list.https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?l=danish&id=560634546.

Workshop you test by turning godmode on ( in console put in "tgm", and don't forget that for testing weapons btw), that gives you never ending building materials, from there on out just build something with as many different pieces as possible, put in "scrapall" in console and start over a few times. Check that what you installed are showing up in the menus.

It is good practice to make a clean and modless save just after you pick up the pipboy and make a solid backup of that. For a number of different reasons that you will eventually come to find out, one of them being missing holotapes from scripted mods. Also, the first part of the game is boring.

Require all dlc i'm afraid.

Use google, nexus search is a goddamn mess.

Best played on hard and above with medium attention to armor.

Side note, i'm currently testing this setup for bloating, and 20 hours in with normal play my save file is 6,2 mb, so that looks promising.

Good luck with your loadorder.

Sorry for the weird english, i'm struggling.
