ConJohnner
Hello people, I've run into a problem.During the Jason Bright quest you have to enter the basement of the RepConn facility.After entering the basement there's a brief loading pause then i come out the other side, but with only my hud visible. No pipboy visuals either, just the sounds. I can however bring up the middle mouse click wheel menu from Lazarus mod i believe. Also animations for burning show up, as in, i shoot a flamer at my companion and just the flames show up. Looks pretty cool not gonna lie. Here is my mod load order via LOOT. I have a bunch yes and none have been merged. 0 0 FalloutNV.esm 1 1 DeadMoney.esm 2 2 HonestHearts.esm 3 3 OldWorldBlues.esm 4 4 LonesomeRoad.esm 5 5 GunRunnersArsenal.esm 6 6 ClassicPack.esm 7 7 MercenaryPack.esm 8 8 TribalPack.esm 9 9 CaravanPack.esm 10 a YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm 11 b SomeguySeries.esm 12 c AnimationProject.esm 13 d New Vegas Redesigned 3.esm 14 e ELECTRO-CITY - CompletedWorkorders.esm FCOMaster.esm 15 f Momod.esm 16 10 ELECTRO-CITY - Highways and Byways.esm Gomorrah Redesigned v2.esp 17 11 domecity.esm 18 12 NVWillow.esp 19 13 LazarusProject.esm 20 14 JIP Selective-Fire.esm 21 15 MikotoBeauty.esm 22 16 FNVToolkit.esm 23 17 Bitter Springs Redesigned.esp 24 18 More Perks.esm Casa Madrid Redesigned.esp 25 19 Project Nevada - Core.esm 26 1a Project Nevada - Equipment.esm 27 1b Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp 28 1c Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp 29 1d D.E.I.M.O.S..esm 30 1e Project Nevada - Extra Options.esm 31 1f oHUD.esm Clean-Deluxe FNV.esm 32 20 YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esp 33 21 Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp 34 22 ImmersivePickupSoundsFNV.esp 35 23 Casino UnBanner.esp 36 24 Economy Overhaul.esp 37 25 HelplessFalling.esp 38 26 LootMenu.esp Project Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esp 39 27 The Weapon Mod Menu.esp 40 28 The Mod Configuration Menu.esp 41 29 DarNifiedUINV.esp Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp 42 2a JIP Realistic Weapon Overheating.esp 43 2b Readius_NV.esp 44 2c FlashlightNVSE.esp 45 2d BushSounds.esp 46 2e You take a sip from your trusty Vault 13 canteen.esp 47 2f Tutorial Killer.esp Clean-Deluxe FNV Merge - AWOP + ILO.esp 48 30 Clean-Deluxe FNV Merge - ILO.esp 49 31 Clean-Deluxe FNV Merge - All DLC.esp 50 32 Clean-Deluxe FNV.esp 51 33 Vurt's WFO.esp 52 34 New Vegas Redesigned 3.esp 53 35 More Perks Update.esp 54 36 Clean-Deluxe FNV - HonestHearts.esp 55 37 Project Nevada - All DLC.esp 56 38 EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp 57 39 Monster Mod Wasteland Edition.esp 58 3a Clean-Deluxe FNV - DeadMoney.esp 59 3b Clean-Deluxe FNV - LonesomeRoad.esp 60 3c Clean-Deluxe FNV - OldWorldBlues.esp 61 3d Clean-Deluxe FNV - ILO.esp 62 3e WeaponModsExpanded.esp 63 3f WMX-DLCMerged.esp 64 40 Project Nevada - WMX.esp 65 41 YUP-WMX-PN-PNEO Patch.esp 66 42 Unofficial Patch Plus.esp 67 43 WMX-POPMerged.esp 68 44 WMX-EVE-AllDLCMerged.esp 69 45 Project Nevada - EVE All DLC.esp 70 46 Unofficial Patch Plus - Project Nevada Patch.esp Project Nevada - Old World Blues (No Cyberware).esp Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp 71 47 MiscItemIconsNV.esp 72 48 FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting - All DLC.esp 73 49 MTB.esp Powered Power Armor.esp 74 4a NewVegasBounties.esp 75 4b NewVegasBountiesII.esp 76 4c TheInheritance.esp 77 4d Rewarding Exploring.esp 78 4e Delay DLC - DM + HH + OWB + LR + GRA.esp 79 4f KingOfTheRing.esp NewVegasBountiesIII.esp 80 50 TheBetterAngels.esp 81 51 Integration - Couriers Stash.esp 82 52 Improved Sound FX - WMX - Merged Major DLCs.esp 83 53 HigherCompanionLevelCap.esp 84 54 GrenadeHotkey.esp 85 55 GrenadeHotkey - DeadMoney.esp 86 56 1nivVSLArmors.esp 87 57 1nivPNSLPatch.esp FCO - Mikoto Patch.esp FCO - Willow (Cazy).esp FCO - Willow.esp 88 58 Door!.esp 89 59 FPSWeaponWheel.esp 90 5a Real Recoil.esp 91 5b updatedWearGlassesandMasks.esp 92 5c MikotoBeauty.esp 93 5d ShilohDS-Color Maps and Icons.esp 94 5e Improved-ammoingredientsloot.esp 95 5f ArmourRepairKits.esp 96 60 mapmarkers.esp 97 61 JIP Improved Recipe Menu.esp 98 62 Burning CampFire.esp 99 63 Centered 3rd Person Camera.esp100 64 DEagle.esp101 65 Reload Sounds.esp102 66 UnscopedWeaponZoom_ArmorWeight.esp Clean-Deluxe FNV - ILO (AWOP).esp103 67 RWD-NV v1.4 [standard Version].esp104 68 R.A.C.E. Also, i've had no problems with anywhere else so far with these mods. I've only been to places you would normally find on a normal play through though. dubiousintent
Try moving the deactivated plugins out of the Data folder first. Even though they are inactive, the game engine loads them to check if they are required by other plugins. This can cause problems. That basement is intentionally very dark. Try "catseye" or some other nightvision enhancement before assuming you have a problem. Though the Pipboy visuals should not be affected. That does seem like a conflict, but might be due to the inactive plugins pushing you too close to the plugin cap. Re-read the install instructions, and the top comment for "Clean-Deluxe FNV". You have to have the ESM, and should only have the "All DLC" ESP file from the main package, without all the individual DLC files. I'm really surprised LOOT let you sort things that way without complaint. I would expect "Clean-Deluxe FNV.esp" to come before any compatibility patches, and to complain of a "missing master" with the ESM deactivated. Same for the FCOMaster.ESM. Edit: I'm not familiar with "Clean-Deluxe", but considering it's age (2012) and that it compares itself as essentially the same as "Better Game Performance" and "Performance of the Gods", suggest you look at the "Towards Game Stability" section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. With all those "compatibility patches" you really need to be using a "bash/merge patch" file. Please see the 'Third Rule: The Rule of One', 'Smaller Plugin Cap', and 'Merge Patch file' sections of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.-Dubious- Edited July 28, 2017 by dubiousintent
ConJohnner
Thanks for the detailed reply DubiousIt ended up being as simple as an unchecked esp in my fomm. You're right though i should merge patches and what not, i've tried using merge plugins standalone, but i'm not sure how to integrate it with fomm. Also about the performance mods, clean deluxe was the only one that seemed to get me better fps. although at that point my load order was not optimal so maybe there's a better performance mod. Anyways i ended up having other random problems related to the steam launcher and nvse launcher, so i decided to clean re install. Thanks for your help. dubiousintent
You don't need or want to integrate "Merge Plugins Standalone" (MPS) into FOMM. MPS is a much later tool and FOMM doesn't know about it and it shouldn't matter. The resulting "merged plugin" files are "just another unpacked, non-FOMOD plugin" to FOMM. Note that MPS does not produce the same sort of patch file as a "merge patch". It does not resolve "record level conflicts". They are two different beasts. Please see the wiki "Merged Plugin Guidelines for Personal Use" article first. -Dubious-
ConJohnner
I'll definitely have to read that wiki and learn about merged patches bashes and plugins.I'm not too concerned about the plugin limit, but would like to shorten my load time. Thanks for the information and guidance.
