A True Skyrim Discord Server

I have been around these forums a while, though I have rarely posted anything myself. I have been on the Skyrim and Skyrim mods Reddits a while, and occasionally post on the Skyrim mods Reddit. I have avoided the Steam and LL forums, but there is the rare occasion where they do provide useful knowledge to me. I only go on the other Skyrim related forums for new mods. With all of this said, there is one place that I am active in the Skyrim community, Discord. I have over the last year acquired several Discord servers that I attempt to be active on, this includes the nexus mods discord. I have joined a few specific mod developers discords such as the Beyond Skyrim Discord server, and a few servers for other mod developers for other games. I use currently a Factorio server as well.

I have found a few problems in the Nexus Mods discord though, which I want to improve upon in a skyrim specific discord server. If you join the factorio server you will find that mod developers have a role, wiki workers have a role, Factorio devs have a role, server hosts have have a role and a channel, and weaboos have a (hidden) channel. The reddit moderators get a role, as well as discord moderators. If you visit the Beyond Skyrim Discord Server, there is a large number of roles based upon what part they play in the development. If you join the Nexus Mods Discord, you will find that there are only two roles other than everyone, staff and moderator (presumably of the forums here). If you want to request help with 3d modeling then you do not know who to contact because that role doesn't exist, if you want help with the creation kit, then you dont have a specific role to look at.
I have recently created a Discord server in which If you have released a mod then you can get a role. If you work for bethesda, you get a role. If you are a 3d artist then you get a role. If you have proven you know all of the tools (XEdit, Wrye Bash or Mator Smash, MO, MO2, NMM, Skyprocs, etcetera) then you will be given a role that show you are someone to ask. I hope that you will join this discord so that it may keep Skyrim modding alive.

TL,DR; I have been active on a lot of discords and the nexus mods discord does not cut it for skyrim modding.

The way you set up your server is excellent, yours reawakens my memories of the past with your grand description of roles.

I'm glad you raised a refreshing way for the Skyrim friends and family to research, learn to do, revitalize, and share.

Your Invite has expired.

Although; I'm sure anyone sincerely interested can find your Discord if they really want to join up.
