blanchfor Posted August 19, 2017 Share Posted August 19, 2017 Hello, I just spent the past 5 days trying to figure out why MGEXE would not work on my Windows 10 pro machine. I kept getting the "cannot launch application, 0xc000007b" error. I looked it up on line and the most I could get was something about the drivers not being 64 bit. I installed and reinstalled direct x 9, .net framework, c++ visual, still nothing works. Finally figured it out, the dinput8.dll file that MGEXE puts in the Morrowind install folder was causing the crash. Once I replaced this file with dinput8.dll from C:\Windows\SYSWow64 it worked perfectly! I just wanted to post this for anyone having the same trouble I had getting MGEXE to work.
