basically, i recently downloaded Fallout New Vegas with some mods (not my first playthrough I just wiped my hard drive), i shall include images of my mod list but i could only leave doc mitchells house in windowed mode which only covers a quarter of the screen, if I enter an interior I either get an infinite load screen or a black screen or an unloaded interior which i can load onto and the issue resolves. The same occurs when leaving Interiors. Also my game will have this never ending lag/freeze loop when outside occasionally (this seems to happen when moving out of the immediate area of goodsprings) which forces me to to quit the game, this happens after about 30 seconds, but when inside safely, the game is normal and functioning. please help because i've been wanting to play this for ages

You don't indicate how long it's been since you last played, or if it was on a PC, but suggest you first read through the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

Then move all the inactive plugins (especially those which are patches for mods you do not have active or installed) out of the game "Data" folder. They are causing "missing master" problems.

Then please see the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

If you still have problems after those steps, please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article.

last time i played was roughly a year ago and was on pc with mods, (but only a few) I also have functioning Skyrim and Skyrim special edition modded games aswell. my PC specs are

Ryzen 1600 6c/12t cpu (stock speeds)

R7 370x oc windforce 2gb gpu (will try to upgrade soon) (I haven't overclocked this)

I run on a 1920x1200 61 or 62 Hz TV

16 gb of DDR4 Corsair RAM running but XMP isn't active because the motherboard doesn't function at the stock speed of 3000 MHZ

Motherboard is a GIGABYTE AB350 - GAMING 3

Free HDD space = 462GB/1TB

It is not a laptop

Windows 10 Latest Update

Latest FNV updates and patches, Latest versions of mods due to yesterday being the install date of the game and the mods.

All DLC's

I am using NMM, FOMM and LOOT

4GB patch applied

I have verivied steam files

it is installed under steamapps in the program files (x86)

I do run the FVSE

Unfortunately none of the steps included in you'r reply worked but i do thank you for you'r help and hopefully the information included will help find a solution.

Please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree is bad and "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it. This is the single most important thing you can do to fix and protect yourself against problems in the future.

We REALLY need to see your sorted "load order" as produced by LOOT (especially after you removed unnecessary plugins). With modded games, its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of problems. Instructions are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

On Windows10, set the "compatibility mode" for the game to "Vista SP2".

Go over the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section in the "Troubleshooting" guide. Lots of tweaks there that will generally benefit you.

Your problems with transitions between exterior and interior cells may be related to the game's "auto-save" feature. See the sub-topic Issue: CTD on interior/exterior/"fast travel" cell change for the explanation and alternatives.

thank you again for you'r swift reply; unfortunately, after following all of the steps above, the problem remains. I thought the picture in my origional post was the load order, sorry. This is the load order copied from LOOT. I hope this helps. It is also worth mentioning that when i enter an interior successfully, (which is rare) most of the textures are missing unless i reload the save once in.

if i turn anti crash off it will just stop responding and give this error message in the event viewer; https://steamcommunity.com/app/22380/discussions/0/617320628410226487/?ctp=2, this may be a solution so should i try this because his error message is the same as mine?

Good News! If i deactivate MNC's texture packs then it all works fine and it doesn't look any different from before which leads me to believe it wasn't wroking properly. It is however very unstable

one further thing, how do i sole the Out Of Memory pop up that crashes the game, I already have the 4gb patch

Move the game out of Program Files and redo the 4GB. The 4GB patch makes changes to the game .exe, but Windows Access Control will not allow the changes to be made while the game is in Program Files.
