Non-bottomless containers

i've never seen it.. but is it possible? non-bottomless containers, with a limitation for weight; for different types of containers. lets say for example, a satchel. it can only hold maybe a small weapon, specifically daggers. specific ingredients as well. also chests, that can hold many different items; of course

I have not seen such a thing on a game wide scale even tho it is technically possible.

SKSE allows you to check a container's weight and should any new items added exceed the designated amount they can be transferred back to the player with a notification.

With careful use of keywords and/or formlists you can also return any items to the player that aren't deemed acceptable for the visual size of the container.

That said, it would require creating an alias for every container in the game or directly adding the script to every container in the game. While the first is mod friendly for those that modify the container and the second not, neither would catch any containers added by mods that were not accounted for.

i searched this up about two years or a year ago. i did not see anything, other than someone else asking about it. i'm sorry if i did not find it the first time; and yes, i should have looked for this mod the day i posted this topic. but thank you so so much for helping me find the mod! cheers

There is no situation in which posting a letmegooglethatforyou link does not make you look like a jerk, and berating people for not finding the information on their own does no one any good

I am fully aware that was a harsh response on my end. and i totally agree with you. I made myself look like a jerk, however i was fully aware of that when i created the post. i chose to do so anyways to HEAVILY stress my point

its not fair to waste other peoples time doing something that you could of just as easily done yourself. such as googling what you are looking for. not to mention its inefficient and takes even longer to get the same result. also from a creators point of view. its even more unfair to ask someone to delicate their time to create something for you that already exists. that just sucks. there are some cases where you just cant find what you are looking for but asking other people to look for you, or to create for you with out even checking to see if what you are looking for already exists isn't cool, it just wastes everyone's time.

I myself use to do the same thing. and it took a pretty harsh response for me to really get and understand that.

I am happy to help and i apologize if my response offended you but in the future, please do take a quick look around before asking for help. You might save yourself some time that way
