[Mod Ideas] Just a few mod ideas that talented individuals might bring to life.

1. This one I'd really like to see somehow and believe it would be reasonably possible.

FO4 Mod that creates interior cells underwater enterable from underwater structures and pipes that were otherwise closed off and useless in vanilla that lead to explorable areas and facilities with secrets and quests to do and possible underwater settlement opportunities. Basically just a way to utilize the large areas unused underwater in this game. And basically it would just mean linking a doorway from an underwater location like a pipe or any of those floating small towers in the water with unusable doors on them to an interior cell, which at that point, is just an interior cell and not too difficult to work with.

2. Prebuilt city mods that add in more Diamond City or similar sized functioning cities to visit and interact in.

Basically just some pre built settlements in other locations on the map. I felt the game lacked more DC sized settlements already going on with their own troubles, characters, and quests from the outset. I know it may be hard to tie new npcs into the lore or quests but it may be possible to make them seem integrated without actually being so as much. The game just needs more already settled-settlements to find and interact in.

3. Mods that expand the map in other directions.

There are mods now that expand West (NW) and North (Northern Border mod) now some mods to expand south need designed and possibly some way to expand east out into the sea or some kind of giant land mass or island out that way that we could travel to with new stuff to do. Actually just any new content in any direction would be fine with me, even if its more and better quests and settlements to the north or the west or whatever, I just feel like the south especially is ripe for picking and something could be done eastward into the water as well.

4. This last one would probably take a bit of scripting and other odd crap that may not be worth the effort but sounds cool to me on paper.

It would just be a Questline Mod that starts out normally as the game looks like Commonwealth Conifer Redux + GRASSLANDS or Regrowth to begin with alongside a questline that when finished, and depending on how the player makes it turn out, could run a script that simulates MORE bombs dropping of some kind which in turn then makes the world look like Devestation, Scorched Earth, Sandy Boston, Dustbowl overhaul preset so that it seems like you caused the world to go back to a nuclear wasteland after it had become green again after the 200 years you were frozen and you could be the a**hole that either inadvertantly or on purpose, your choice, could decide the fate of the land you play in. From there on out, the rest of the game is still the same, just the environment could be different depending on your choices in that quest or it could still be normal also.

I thought it would be interesting that now when you come out of your vault and its been 200 years, the land is kind of green and somewhat verdant again or as nice as it can be after recovering from fallout. But how about a quest where you end up blowing the area up all over again and leaving it looking like one of those scorched earth or Dustbowl overhaul mods afterwards and you are responsible for it all or responsible for saving it the way it already was and preventing the destruction. Nice moral dilemma quest.

If any of these mods seem cool to any mod authors out there and within reason as possible to make, by all means go ahead and use these ideas. Just please credit me for the idea, that is all I ask. If you would like to message me for more input or ideas or clarification, that is cool too. I'd be willing to work with someone on these as much as I'm able. Ive tried to learn modding but I'm just not good enough to pull any of these things off. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed these ideas. I think they would go a long way to bring much more life and re-playability out of this game. This is coming from a veteran and what I thought could spice things up and re-interest me to play this game for a long time more.
