Your thoughts are wanted

I am developing a total conversion mod for a game called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Currently I am busy with rebuilding crafting systems and leveling systemof the game and I wanted your opinion wether I should keep progressing on it or dropping it.

If you support the idea write yes at the start of your comment if you think it is terribly stupid write no at the start. Please.

Skills
You can't craft wooden equipment or hide/fur/leather equipment at a forge. These equipment can be crafted by their respective skills woodworking and clothing. Enchanting is in basics the same and alchemy too. Furthermore the skill of cooking has been added.

Leveling
You level by doing stuff, just like vanilla. However, instead of being able to press on a button (the /), you need to sleep in a bed. This allows you to meditate and teleports you to a sort of meditation state. A world in your mind. There are three paths you can walk; The warrior, The mage, The thief. these paths you walk on has some special effects that belong to the skills in those paths. You can choose whatever you like in which skill, only it is more fancy and you can't use it to heal yourself in combat anymore.

Blacksmithing

As a blacksmith you learn to change the forms of metal in order to create weaponry and armours. Beside this you can also forge jewelry such as circlets or rings. The origins of blacksmithing is pretty much the same as the vanilla version; You need raw materials to craft. You can refine your equipment at a armorer's bench or at a sharpening wheel to increase the armor rating or damage. You can melt equipment to have a chance on recieving raw materials. The succes rate of creating an item, without breaking it, depends on your smithing skill. Also for hunters; you can make metal traps in blacksmithing.

Woodworking
As a woodworker you gain the ability to create wooden weapons such as uncharged staves, bows, arrows and clubs. You can create wooden shields here as a defense equipment and create various misc items such as torches, walking sticks and furniture for in your house. You can break items during your creation process, this depends on your woodworking skill. You can dismantle gear to recieve some raw materials back. Also for hunters; you can make wooden traps in blacksmithing

Clothing
Leather, hide and fur armor is created at a spinning wheel. You can also create normal clothing such as cloaks and robes. You can accidentally tear up your crafts causing your equipment you tried to craft to be destroyed. You can carefully cut it to recieve raw materials.

Enchanting
In order to enchant you need a magic tablet and a vial of Magichia Enolla (The original name of magical energy in my lore). The magic tablet can be bought or you can create them by finding runes and learning their properties. You need to fill the vial with Magichia Enolla and it can be done in some ways. For example buying a full one, get hit a lot with magick or go to a Magichia Enolla pool and refill it. (These are magicka restoring pools). Now you need an item to enchant and there you go.

Alchemy
Alchemy has some major changes. You'll need an empty vial, boiled water and the ingredients. Vials can be created by smelting glass. You need to boil some water on a fire and pour it in the vial. You can obtain water from any merchant or spot where you can find water. There are a lot of recipes and you can do almost everything with alchemy you could do with other magic skills. Besides the usual things you can make explosions that will trigger on touch or on a timer.
You can hurt yourself badly with alchemy just by creating... So have fun!

Cooking
As a life saving, mayhem causing, adventurer you get hungry and thirsty. It only seems natural. You create food and drinks to quench your thirst and fill your belly. But also these can fortify skills and attributes. Eating your cooked food immediately gives a warm feeling and an extra boost in attribute regeneration. Food will spoil. Also, a lot of food in the world isn't good to eat. However.. could they be used for poisons..?

Side notes:

1. Durability has been added. Equipment has durability, from 100% to 0%. Zero makes weapons very dull and the armor rating 0. If you use your broken equipment for too long it can become unrepairable. Be warned. (Probably could be toggled off).

2. Equipment slots. First of all you have more equipment pieces; Helmet, cuirass, legs, boots, shoulders, gloves, necklace, ring 1, ring 2, cloak, main hand and off-hand. You can wear leg and body clothing under your armor. Increases resistance of exposure in weather. This also allows for great customization.

3. Dyes. You can buy dyes from merchants and craft them in alchemy. You can learn more dyes from other people allowing you to use a dying table which uses sliders for your optimal equipment style. This might include a few patterns too you can place. (not sure about the last one).

4. Modification. If this above wasn't enough I give you modification. Equipment is found mostly in a basic form. You can edit this form take pieces apart, add some other pieces on it. You need to learn these pieces by finding reading books from crafters. Once you learned it it will explain what you need to have in order to make the components. Once you merged the components with your equipment it cannot be taken apart.

This is the current planning, it requires a large overhaul, but if this almost get no support it will be dropped due to time consuming.
