CTD When switching Gender in RaceMenu to Female

Hello fellow Mod Community, I tried very badly to avoid asking for help to fix this certain problem, that means I tried to Google solutions, tried many things like adding a new Mod like RaceMenuShow Alternative, Run my Load Order through another Program (LOOT), create a Male Character and switch via RaceMenu to Female, and deactiviating Apachi and ended up deinstalling it, also reinstalled my Skeleton Mods and Texture Mods I use oh and not to forget SSE Fixes with the DLL thing.

 

Problem: As soon as I want to switch to a female I get an instant CTD (Any Race except Argonians and Khajiit, didn't test all Races but some of them resulted in the same CTD, but these Females have a Neck Problem, their Body Texture looks very different from the Neck I think Seam it is called, their Head look differently except for the Argonians, they looked fine, both Female and Male Versions)

 

Body/face and Hair Mods I use that are not listed in the Load Order except Drachis obviously:

 

Beards - Beards - 4K Resolution v4.1 from Hvergelmir

Drachis Argonian Eyes v2.4 from Dachis

Improved Eyes Skyrim v1.5.1/1.6 from missjennabee

KS Hairdos SSE - KS Hairdos SSE v1.4 from Kalilies Stealthic(CCC) and Shocker (get it THICCC..nevermind my bad)

Seductive Lips HD SE Edition v1.0 from EcthelionOtW

 

Models and Texture that apply to someones Body that are not in the Load Order except Wico obviously:

 

Feminine Argonian and Khajiit Textures from MONSTERaider both v2.0 and UNP Versions

Masculine Khajit and Argonian Textures from MONSTERaider both v1.0

UNP Female Body Renewal from dimon99- Phygit - Vectorcide - hello santa and Reize v4.2

WICO - Windsong Immersive Character Overhaul from Windsong v0.9f

 

Notes:

 

I aim to play a Male Character, so honestly these CTD's when it comes to creating a Female should not bother me at all, but it does since also want to check if I can create as ugly Females like my Male Characters and the existence of this CTD does bother me the most, especially when I know there is one. By the way I will reinstall my Khajiit and Argonian Body Mods to see if I still get these different Textures for body and Head. I also hope you can still understand me, despite my bad vocabulary and english, if there are any sentences formed incorrectly, or not understandable in any way, feel free to correct me, or let me help to make something clear to you.

Sorry someone didn't get back to you sooner. I try not to let these hang more than a few hours if possible because I know when I have a problem, I want answers, yesterday. lol What really sucks is Steam just updated, and now I have to wait for the SKSE64 to catch up. Right in the middle of an install. lol

Now, for future reference, you can use spoiler tags for the mod list. That way, it's not a wall of words.

Also, I see that you ran loot, and have the basics.

Did you clean the masters? Also, did you run wryebash? Are there any orange boxes? Make sure they're orange, not red. They can look a little reddish. The red boxes look pinkish. Orange boxes are easy to fix.

It sounds like it's not finding the proper mesh, or it's trying to put two meshes into one place. I would open up outfit studio and take a look at the reference bodies for male characters.

I'm at a loss as to what is causing it, but hopefully some basic stuff with WryeBash/TESVEdit will take care of it.

Hey twowolves80, thank you for answering and giving me ways to work on my forum posts, I think it is quite obivous to see that I am very new to a Forum, there is an easy fix for the new update and you have to install through the steam console the previous version if Skyrim SE. I did not run Wryebash through my Load Order, but I can of course, and if there are boxes appearing I will try to fix them of course. Thank you for your answer, I will see soon to it

 

Edit: I did run LOOT, Wryebash, Mod Organizer and SSE Edit through all files and cleaned as well. It still happens and to be honest I think I will just start from scratch with my Mods.

SKSE64 hasn't been patched, and who knows when they'll get around to it as it's still in alpha state right now. Hopefully, soon, though. For the fix--wait, we just delete out the skyrim.exe and let steam reinstall it? Crap, that means having to clean the masters again...and the INIs...

lol No worries about the forum posts. Just don't take my word as the absolute fact, I'm wrong more often than right, but I think you have the same problem I was having where something didn't get installed right. I would install the skelly, then the body replacer, then anything else on top of it. Especially with NMM's odd-ball filing system.

I just edited my previous Post, saying I will start from scratch. I did already reinstalled the Skeleton, then UNP and then the rest, but it still made the instant crash happen. It feels like my Skyrim does not accept the changes I do, for example even with Feminine Khajiit having installed, it just takes over the body but not the head textures, so it looks weird from the neck and of course off too, like it doesn't fit.

 

Edit of the Edit that got Edited: I am also using still the same Mods, Texture Mods for Body, Eyes and Hair. Also please don't ask me about my edits, I would appreciate that.

 

Edit of the Edit: I have deinstalled all of the Mods I used, and installed the ones I just wanted to have, and it fixed the problem I had with the CTD. So if anybody else has this similiar problem in the Future, but can't tell why, then just reinstall Mods, pick the ones you want to keep and clean after you, use LOOT and you are good to go, of course paying attention to Mod Descriptions help too!

Edit: NMM doesn't even ask me either to wether overwrite or not when installing body textures, I also disabled Wico for testing cause that is the only other Body Texture mod I use that could conflict, but I have disabled it and it doesn't change at all.

i'm on 2011 Skyrim, and i have this same issue. however, even after running LOOT and xEdit, and reinstalling several mods that affected female playable character, it still crashes. And yes, I have Alternate Start at the bottom of my load-out list.

i had this issue when a new Skyrim anniversary update installed before that i didn't had no issues but now it has issues.
