Downloaded older version of Skyrim SE to fix Script Extender, then this happened

So everyone here's familiar with the latest Skyrim SE update which broke the Script Extender. I decided to follow a fix that involved downloading an older version of the .exe file through the Steam Console. I even stopped updates for the game by setting it to "update only when launched"

BUT

When I load the game through SKSE it says that it's incompatible because I'm running on an older version of the game.

So, here I am wondering what I did wrong. What did I do wrong? And is there a way to fix this? Can't play Skyrim without SkyUI

SKSE current version (2.0.5) is for the current SSE version (runtime 1.5.16). You will also need to check if you need to update anything that you have in your Skyrim Special Edition\Data\skse\plugins folder, such as for example PapyrusUtils.

Important note: SSE Fixes has not yet been updated, so if you use it, you will have to remove it.

I had not to remove it. It's just that i got again FPS Drops at certain places, e.g. Riften.

But as i've re-installed my complete skyrim with all the mods a while ago, it could be also possible, that i've installed sse fixes not correct this time.

Or the Game update has overwritten the dll's. Or this happened, while i did a file check in steam, to get the old skyrim.exe replaced by the new skyrim.exe Version again, as skse had been updated.

Anyway, lets hope that there will be an update of SSE Fixes.
