Hello there! I really need help with this texture issue that is bothering me to no end... I've uninstalled all my mods and added them one by one but this water texture/mix is just staying. I don't know what's causing it. It's mixing with my Realistic Water Two mod. Can anyone, help me? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Here's some picture of what I mean.

Not really sure if you can see here.

Didn't have anything smaller, did ya? :D

Upload a bigger pic Jaes9

*EDIT*

What I CAN see is that you're using an ENB preset. Is it related to any other mod and did you uninstall the ENB when trying the game unmodded?

  • 2 weeks later...

I installed both of them and I am using an ENB. I've figured out that it has something to do with lighting? Maybe ELFX? Because Only when the sky is clear and the sun is shining does the water look like that. At night the water goes back to normal looking, which is crisp and clear water like it should be. Still, I don't know how to fix this...

In that case, it could be your ENB doing it. Which ENB preset are you using? If the properties of the water are correct, then you can try this:

  1. Open ENB config menu (Shift+Enter usually).
  2. In the bottom left pane, scroll down to [PARTICLE] and expand it.
  3. If IgnoreWeatherSystem is checked, then try lowering Intensity settings here. There are separate settings for dawn, sunrise, day, night, etc.
  4. Otherwise, enable the Weather pane on the left side.
  5. In the weather pane, scroll down to [PARTICLE] and try lowering the Intensity settings there.
  6. You may need to do this for other weathers too.
  7. If you're happy with your settings, then click "SAVE CONFIGURATION" in the top left pane.

If you want to adjust many weathers, then open up the weather INI files in the Skyrim\enbseries folder in a text editor.

While adjusting it, if some water is too bright and some other water is fine, then it might be a problem with the water mesh.

Note that adjusting ENB Particle settings affects other kinds of particle effects too, like smoke, fog, etc.
