Skyrim Crashes to Desktop around 60 seconds into game

just like it says on the tin after around a minute into game my skyrim crashes to desktop with no error i believe it is my memory blocks when it reaches around 216 (for block1) 241 (for block2) it crashes i have used the skse patch with the Skse.ini and ssme nothing i have no idea what this is but anything helps i can provide more info need be

First of all thank you to all you cleaver and creative modders. With your help my games should last years!

Secondly HELP!

Is it possible to overdose on mods? (61 supposedly active... others I have downloaded won't install)

I installed a lot of mods for the original Skyrim (as my Laptop can't handle the special edition) Most quest and companion related... some spells ... no re textures or image/ sound boosters... but now... well the game simply just crashes before it has even got pasted the BETHSADA logo. Can I restore my game or have I lost it forever?

(Please also note that I am an idiot.... so simple speck if possible)

It looks like you used to have Enderal installed. You should delete (and back up) your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and then run SkyrimLauncher to generate new ones.

 

As for your load order, you should install and run LOOT. Be sure to press the Sort button and apply changes.

 

If you start a new game, then be sure to disable Helgen Reborn until after you've finished the Unbound quest. Since you're using ASLAL, see the description page for how to do this.

 

Also, Warburg's Paper World Map often causes problems, especially if it isn't the very last plugin in your load order. A Quality World Map and Solstheim Map - With Roads now has a paper map option.

You are, but please don't take over someone else's post. You should "Start New Topic" instead. The problem that you're having is not the same as the topic of the post you responded to. It may sound the same, but crashing at the logo and crashing after starting the game are different.

If it's crashing at the logo, then you are missing a requirement for a mod that you're using. You should install and run LOOT and look for any error messages about missing masters. If you're using NMM, then go to the Plugins tab and look for any red plugins. If you click on it, it will tell you what's missing. If you're using Mod Organizer, then go to the Plugins pane and look for plugins with a red warning sign beside it. If you hover your mouse over the mod, it will tell you what's missing.
