IS SSE More Stable than LE?

SE is 64 bit, can access more memory, and is the most stable of the two.

I'm using it with Vortex and 225 mods and have a virtually crash-free game.

+1. Just what i also think. I have over 300 mods installed and jsut over 200 plugins in my load order and game is running smooth at +60 fps with no crashes.

Using Vortex with Skyrim SE is so easy and works lika a charm.

The Creation Club updates (is mentioned in the thread) is not a problem since it is just to not update the game.

IMHO it's way more stable than Skyrim LE. I've had maybe 2 CTD's while playing SE since about August '18.

Using approx 45 mods, none too heavy with the scripting etc. . Mainly, texture mods, CBBE, clothing, armor, player houses, etc. Nothing too game changing.

My old(ass) system. Circa 2012. Only upg the vid to a 1050ti and the ram to 16GB since then. I use FRAPS for checking my FPS, and it's pretty much a steady 60FPS in the game. Does dip some on occasions but not alot. I'm running Skyrim SE pretty much on the "High" Setting.
