Dai Tools Mod Manager: "An error occurred while getting the project List."

When I try to start up Dai Tools Suite: Mod Manager it gives me an error ("An error occurred while getting the project list."). I tried re-downloading the tools from the 2015 version that's posted here on the nexus, but same deal. I used to be able to open it just fine, but its been a few months since I've used it. I've tried googling, but there isn't a whole lot of info out there. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

I am having the same problem. I tried all the trouble shooting advice, made sure I have all the required pieces installed. Made sure my firewall wasn't blocking the app either. Repaired the game twice, uninstalled and resinstalled it and still get the same error. "An error occured while getting the Project List"

I can't seem to find any sort of information anywhere on the troubleshooting pages either. If anyone has some insight or idea whats going on here, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ok I feel like a fool. Adding an exception to my Window's Defender firewall did nothing. So finally deciding "What the heck" I disabled Windows Defender and loaded up the DAI Tools Suite. It loaded just fine. So Idk if Window's Defender just doesn't recognize the tool suite even with an exception or not, but if you have Windows10 and are getting the "Project List error" see if you have Windows Defender and disable it temporarily to see if that fixes the issue. Hope that helps! Solved my problem at least!

same issue. I used to have DAI mod manager, but havent played in forever and it got deleted, but game was left on the computer with whatever I had done to it to mod it with DAI mod manager. I downloaded the program again, but now I get that error and the windows defender solution didn't work. I also have no clue how the folders work so I can't just manually remove whatever mod I installed with the modman before. I was going to switch to Frosty mods only, but can't even do that! so frustrating...

Hi, having this issue and like Phirelily the WIN Defend fix is not working. IS there any other workaround/fix or is it just keep hitting it w/ a hammer till it works? Frosty seems to work but I'm not sure all the mods I want to use will work w/ it. Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

Thanks!

not sure if youre still having the problem, but it seems dai tools suite loader needs internet connection for it to open. after connecting to internet try to open it few times. If that doesnt work, you can directly download DAI mod manager. since dai tool suite is use to download DAI mod manager there is not much use of dai tool suite. to directly download click this link this thread or just google it.

Of all the responses, this was the only one that not only properly explained the nature of how the suite worked, but offered a functional workaround for those who, like me, had tried everything to get the damn thing to work without success. I have now saved a copy of the Download Manager onto my backup HDD in case I ever need to reinstall.

Thanks for the advice; it really helped out.

I am having this same problem and sadly that link you posted doesn't work as it just takes me to a 404 error page. Do you guys have any other ideas? I did manage to find a working download link for it but I don't trust / know if it's legit or if it's going to do something bad to my game.
