It's A Supernatural Life

"Same reason as yours." Was the only thing that July said. She noticed the gun and wondered what bullets is she using. Though Amy said that she kills demons so bullets are probably useful against demons. The hunter heard rumors about a knife that can actually kill demons but unfortunately she never found or even saw one so it's unlikely that something like that is even real and not some made up stories by some wannabe hunters.

July recited an exorcism spell silently as she walked towards the store. People were still walking in the streets so they will have to wait until the streets will clear out.

They had to be here. They just had to be.

Raven was cruising casually through Salt Lake in her black, 1966 Ford Mustang. She took a moment to admire the sheen of evening sunlight off of the hood. Danny had done an excellent body job. The thing had been a hunk of junk when she recovered it from her uncle's place, and now it looked brand new.

She returned her attention to the road. Though, after riding through every street in the city, that was very hard to do. Deciding to take a mental and physical break, she quickly pulled in front of a recently abandoned shop.

Raven sank deeper into her seat after killing the engine, intent on relaxing, when two figures caught her eye in her rear-view mirror. One looked to be a goth girl, the other a fashionista. They were huddled close to a black Chevelle, and Raven thought she saw a glimpse of a shotgun. Her brow furrowed. Behind the pair was an old antique shop, which had closed for the day.

She continued watching, reaching slowly for her cellphone. It appeared she was going to be witness to an armed robbery.

July waited for the streets to clear out. Luckily no one noticed her shotgun or at least it seemed that way. Once the streets were empty the hunter shoved her hand into a pocket and pulled out a lockpick. July looked around to see if no one's looking then started picking the lock. July preferred to work silently instead of breaking down things.

The goth girl headed for the door of the shop and began picking the lock.

Raven had just opened her phone and dialed the number "9" when something else caught her eye.

At first, it appeared there was no one in the shop, and it was difficult to see inside because of the darkened interior and the glare on the windows. But she swore she glimpsed a shadow flicker across the floor - with no body attached to it.

She closed her phone with snap.

July was still picking the lock when suddenly her lockpick broke. "God damn it!" She cursed to herself and took another lockpick from her pocket. If this one will break too she will kick in the door demons or no. She tried her best not to break the lockpick and unlock the door as soon as possible. If the shop owner isn't possessed then his life is in grave danger. But knowing the demon she followed here, it is unlikely that the man is still alive...

Raven took the revolver from the holster on her thigh and checked that she had the right bullets.

She then replaced the gun. Patting her calf to make sure her knife was in her boot, she took her hat from the passenger seat, set it low on her head, and then opened the car door.

Just act casual...

She shut the door and stuffed her keys in her jacket pocket. Luckily, there was no traffic, so she crossed the road quickly.

Clearing her throat loudly, she said, "You ladies need somethin'? Breakin' into that shop might not be the best idea, because all Hell is going to break loose."

July was busy with lock picking when she heard a voice behind her. Unconsciously, her hand reached to the gun as she turned to see who was talking. She hoped it wasn't a cop and... the woman didn't look like one. "Listen lady, I don't have time for this crap. A man's life is at stake here!" July said and finally unlocked the door. She looked back at Amy to see if she's ready. Edited by Naktis

"Look lady! i can tell by the... god awful clothes you are wearing, and the common accent that you are just a thug. Clear off, we have important business with the... residents of this shop. Now please, your presence is unwanted." Amy said in a very aloof and unkind way, her rich girl roots showing. "Ready." Amy said to july.

"You judge people by their clothes?" July shook her head. She then glanced at the newcomer. "For your own safety, don't get involved in this." July pulled out her shotgun from her coat, revealing anti-possession tattoo on her wrist. She nodded to Amy and stepped inside the dark store.
