getting my PRC ENB to work

Hello there people,

So a few days ago I bought a new pc and finally started modding my Fallout 4, I have / had no real issues, except for the fact that I cant get my ENB to work and I have no clue what to do now,

Some info

I have followed the installation to the letter:

1• Download the v0.317 Enb binaries and drop ONLY d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll into the Fallout 4 main folder, where the game's .exe are.
2 • Download the PRC main Enb preset and drop all the files into the Fallout 4 main folder, where the game's .exe and the Enb binaries are.
3 • Download and install Institute Patch for PRC and PRC Patch for Enbs. (mandatory)

I am using F4SE, but I have launched fallout 4 with the default launcher to see if that causes any issues

my issue:

pressing end should open a Enb menu, it does not,

I also read that if the menu didnt pop up, I should delete the enblocal.ini, and then press shift enter, this also did not work.

im not a very experienced modder, it is quite possible that I made some very noobie mistake somewhere.

Thank you in advance!

I'm new to modding too and can't find: 3 • Download and install Institute Patch for PRC and PRC Patch for Enbs. (mandatory)

I'm assuming I drop the d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll and PRC main Enb preset in the main Fallout 4 folder and not the Fallout 4 folder in that folder. Didn't see .exe files anywhere.

Where are the Institute and PRC patches?
