Knight240990
Hi! After decapitating enemies, their necks disappear (see attached photo). I have the body replacers CBBE and Better Males installed. Can anybody help to fix this?
IsharaMeradin
First glance, something is blocking the neck gore portion at body slot 51. Check all your mods. Look for edits to:DecapitatedHead (armor object)DecapitatedNeckAA (armor addon object)DecapitatedNeckArgonianAA (armor addon object)DecapitatedNeckKhajiitAA (armor addon object) Failing that, console display the inventory of the NPC in question, see if there are any hidden objects which may be equipped. If so, check them out to see if they use slot 51. Beyond that, I cannot be of further help. Good luck.
Knight240990
Thank you for your answer. I assume that's gonna be a longer process. Is there a way to speed it up?
IsharaMeradin
You can check the listed records using xEdit. Simply load ALL active plugins then find those records in Skyrim.esm. If any mods edit them, they'll show up alongside the stock entries. Theoretically, last one to edit is the culprit. But before crying wolf, test that mod out individually. Could always be something else causing it.
Knight240990
Thank you! I try that.
Knight240990
Tried what you said, but when I wanna start xEdit I get this message: X-Edit was unable to locate a device. This may happen for the following reasons:- The device is not connected to your computer- X-Edit is already running (try opening presets from within the application)- Another application is already using the device's MIDI ports- The USB MIDI drivers have not been properly installed
IsharaMeradin
xEdit is a commonly referred name for TES4Edit, TES5Edit, FO3Edit, FO4Edit, SSEEdit. Unfortunately, some searching yieldsXEDIT - a visual editor for VM/CMS (whatever that is)X-Edit - a digital guitar effects program (what you apparently tried and obviously fails) Guess, I should have been more descriptive the first time around...
