SWBF2 wont launch in FMM after new update, what to do?

Came here to report the same issue. From what I can tell, this should have been expected, since the patch overwrites the .exe FMM applies mods to. Tried to restart FMM to redirect it to post-patch BF2, then reinstalled and reapplied mods before launching from FMM. Didn't work; got the same result as you and I both did. FMM dialog reads 'applying mods,' minimizes, logs into Origin, and then nothing. Launching vanilla from Origin works fine.

Not entirely sure if EA/DICE snuck some anti-mod stuff into 1.1, but I'm disappointed. Mods were what made the game enjoyable.

We have an official twitter answer stating that cosmetic mods are perfectly fine for multiplayer, also for singleplayer any mod was okay. There is no reason to make an anti-mod-feature after these statements.

Addition: Deleting the ModData folder in your game install enables FMM to launch BFII again. Skin Changer confirmed not working anymore tho.
