I've got a slight problem with a custom shout I'm trying to add, this being it crashes to the desktop whenever I try to 'Unlock' it in-game from the menu. What I've done so far is:-create the 3 words of power it uses-create quest to hold sound files for shout-added global variable for shout-copy/pasted one of the existing 'shout wall thingies' with all the bits and changed script properties of the big trigger volume Everything starts off going to plan with the sound and visual effects working as expected around the wall. I get a notification on screen along with the audio cue that a word has been learned, however trying to unlock the shout always immediately causes the game to crash. I'm a little puzzled here and have looked at what limited online tutorials there are on adding custom shout. I honestly have no idea what may be causing the issue. satanicpineapple Posted January 23, 2018 Author Share Posted January 23, 2018 Fixed the issue (I'll post here on the off chance someone else out there may be having the same trouble). Turns out the quest I created to hold the sound files for the mod was set to start game enabled, which requires an SEQ file to work correctly. I generated one of those and it works fine now.
