Skyrim will not launch with ENB

I recently upgraded Windows 10, and one of the first things I checked was my games, including Skyrim, because I know that it can break your game sometimes.

I was relieved to see it still worked. However, after about the 3rd time I launched it, my game stopped launching at all. I thought I had too many mods installed anyway and it was time for a reboot, so I cleanly reverted the game back to vanilla using the Wiki Step Guide.

Having a completely clean Skyrim, I started a new game. It launched fine. The first mod I installed was an ENB, and lo and behold, the game would not launch. I don't know what's causing it to fail, but if anyone has any advice, it would be great to hear.
