Seperate damage effects for PowerArmor than the npc/player within?

That could be done.

 

One way that COULD work is by:

 

  • creating a script that checks the current health of the PA
  • and applies a perk that either reduced the incomming damage to the player by a huge amount
    or simply adds a invulnerbility spell or effect to the player
  • once the health of the PA drops below a certain value the effect would be removed from the player
