DasMowski Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Hey everyone, I had a fairly simple question. Is it okay to have Skyrim on one hard drive, but the Skyrim .INI file on a seperate SSD? Will this cause issues? For more Information: I have my steam install all my games into an E: drive (HDD) and then when generating my .INI file, it puts it in my C: drive (SSD), which I guess I'm okay with, I just want to make sure it will still work fine when installing mods and adjusting values in the INI.
golden15833 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 yep, i have my skyrim installed on E:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim, and skyrim.ini files are in C:\Users\gabri\Documents\My Games\Skyrim, i haven't seen any issue yet.
DasMowski Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 Thanks! Just wanted to make sure before I go building an entire mod library. I'd be pissed if it turned everything was going haywire due to that.
