cannot get to work

was one of the lucky ones to get a chance at running the new vortex software, however that is where it ended. I can install it it even finds the game but i cannot activate the game to mod it. This happened after the update. Also the origional release was super buggy and i could not get a download to go past 10% before it locked up. so here i am wishing i could try this out. At least the dashboard looks nice.... Ive noticed people have been able to get it to run any help would be appricated. the system is running windows 10 pro x64 and its is skyrim se on steam.
