In response to post #71950188.I agree a ttmp file is easiest and the instructions could be more clear. I worked it out and then put together a Tutorial for anyone else. Once you've done it you'll see in 30 seconds how easy it is. Instructions here and in text form below: https://imgur.com/gallery/Mfe0z7Y
Step 1. Download the HD Summons (HD Pets-x.zip) file.
Step 2. Go to FFXIV TEXTOOLS and Expand the Companions > Pets list on the left-hand side to show the Pets.
Step 3. Click EXPORT for Each Pet included in the HD Pack.
Step 4. In FFXIV TEXTOOLS go to Options > Customize to find your SAVED folder where the tool exports to, by default this is C:\Users\Windows Account Name\Documents\TexTools\Saved\Pets\
Step 5. Overwrite all contents of Pets Folder with contents from the HD Summons pack archive you downloaded.
THINGS TO NOTE REAL QUICK:
Before you import you will note the sizes of the textures in Bottom Left of the Viewing Window will by default be 256 or 512 pixels. Success means this updating to 2048x2048. There are THREE components to the textures that need to be updated, thatís why the creator (Phoenix) has provided 3 files in each Pet folder. In the Model Viewing Window the middle drop down has DIFFUSE, NORMAL and SPECULAR.
Step 6. Go back to FFXIV TexTools and for Each Pet you want to click IMPORT DDS on DIFFUSE, NORMAL and SPECULAR until each shows 2048x2048 and then you are done.
Now I haven't even loaded the game and seen this mod yet so it better a) work and b) be worth me writing a tutorial, lol :)
