I'm having the same issue....was working just fine then, suddenly stopped. I had not changed, updated or downloaded anything....now I cant save DDS or edit existing dds files....i can still open them up in gimp but, any work I do, results in a blank mess in nifskope....

i still use gimp and some of its unique features but combined with paint.net using the reliable dds converting part of paint.net. as the transfer format i use lossless tga. not ideal but works without a problem.
