[ERROR] Deployment failed

Greetings:

I was modding normally when suddenly vortex does not allow me to activate more mods. It always gives me the same message error, whatever the mod is. It gives me the problem at the moment of putting it in "enabled". I did not do anything weird, I just tried to install the mods like I did before and I get that error when I did not give it before. Also, I do not understand the error message, I had no open application, only vortex (I have checked)

I would appreciate a solution if someone knows. I have been working in this modlist for a long time and I would like to finish it without having to throw all the time invested...

Thanks.

EDIT: If after the "failed" deployment I go to the mods folder I see the mod files well deployed and the mod seems to work well event with the "error"... Im very confused.

Are you sure the installation process is complete? I have noticed a couple of places where the UI thread appears to not quite be in sync with what is actually happening. Or rather, two different parts of the UI are reporting two different things. I've been trying to pin it down in order to report something akin to an actual reproduction recipe, but it doesn't seem to be consistent.

Have you tried closing Vortex and restarting?

Have you tried restarting Windows?

Yes, the installation is basically complete because it worked perfectly (I installed 60 mods before it failed). I have also tried to restart Vortex and the computer and it does not fix anything.

It really is not a serious problem since the mods are installed correctly, the only thing is that every time you activate a mod an annoying error message appears.

I also had this error while the files are in the data folder.

I tryed then to purge and after purging the data folder isnt clear many mod esps are still there ( which are all there through installing with vortex).

I can't reproduce the situation when this happens but it was not only one time i had it.

Close vortex, clean the data folder manual, start vortex and deploy and everthing seems fine till somhow sometime i will get this error again ...

Getting this too.. The purge button is too easily hit. It needs an "are you sure" prompt. I hit it on accident, loaded back up and was presented with my mods asking for changes, i hit "undo" all. Then I got this message for 30k+ files. trying to unlock the entire folder to see if this helps.

Purge is not a destructive operation, it can be "undone" by deploying again.

Restoring a backup from a bad backup tool however is bound to confuse vortex because the backup software probably turns all the links into actual files, thus destroying the connection that tells vortex where the file came from.
