armor in this video? (yes, yet ANOTHER Dalish-related question lol)

Looks like one of the DA2 ports from tmp7704's unique light armours (or a reskin of same; the texture looks darker than what I recall using for my female Warden, though it might just be my old eyes not working correctly any longer: tumblr_inline_oinalkGwly1tzwu39_500.jpg ).

ah, I c. I assume its safe to download from that site? no risk of viruses or anything? (only uses the Nexus) but I cant c what console command it is to get it. Seeing as how its a .zip I assume its a simple case of installing via DAupdater?

  • I've only downloaded some of tmp's files from the site, and they were all clean. YMMV, and it's good practice in any case to scan any file downloaded from the interwebs.

  • IIRC, there is no console command to add the gear in that mod, as it replaces specific, unique vanilla items with the DA2 ports. (I believe that particular armour model is the replacer for The Felon's Coat.)

  • It's a ZIP archive, not a DAzip. Follow the installation instructions on the mod's page and install it to your manual override folder.

  • Absent a dedicated console command you could still console the item (or any mod-added item) in with 'Add Any Item Visual Deluxe' (use the Nexus search function; I can't access the files side of the site).

how come in the video shows the Warden using it when u encounter the mirror then? the Felons Coat is only attainable from Wade in Denerim. I'm assuming once u download it then u just use 7zip and copy and paste the folder into the override file and no need to open the mod file?

You'll have to ask the youtuber how they got the gear on an origin arc Marhariel, because there's no one answer to how it could happen and any one is as likely as another. (Some examples: it could be consoled in with the stats required to equip the chest also added via console. Or the player could have created a custom, unique item using tmp's mod as a base and scripted it into the game. Or they could have replaced the Dalish starting equipment via a UTC edit.)

If you already have the item, the appearance won't change. You will need to re-add it with the console.

And again, install as you would any other override mod: unzip the archive, place the enclosed folder in the manual override folder.

/tsm out

What I've done= unzipped with7zip and opened and copied the folder where it shows item_textures, item_mesh and item_data and copied the url which says D:\da2_armour-light.zip\da2_armour-light\ to override and still not changed appearance even tho I never had the item. Went to Wade's after following guide and its still the same old ugly vanilla-looking version.
