I have a question and I couldn't figure out how to start a new forum. It's along the same lines since my game isn't loading at all. I made sure to follow every step to the T and it CTD immediately with no errors given. My main question is: is SKSE64 supposed to create plugins? I have it in NMM and no plugins were created as a result. I only got plugins from my desired mod. Help please.

Nvm. I tried it without the mod im trying to run and it worked perfectly fine. I'm going to try and redownload my mod and see if it works now.

I've downloaded the newest version of SKSE64, because Skyrim was just updated via Steam. Now it won't launch the game. It makes an attempt, but almost immediately CTDs, I don't get to see the main menu. Because of the update of Skyrim, I can't use the older version of SKSE64 anymore (it gave me an error). I can play Skyrim SE, but without mods, that require SKSE64, so bye bye SkyUI and co. Any help here?

Did you update all SKSE dependent mods to the newest SKSE version?  You have to update the mods that require SKSE which means you have to wait until they recompile their mods...

I had the same problem, i had installed a mod that is meant to autosave your game every ~15 minutes, and it was for TESV not TESV SE and that would completely crash my game every single time i pressed skse64 loader, i would get the black DOS window for a split second, and nothing, uninstalling the autosave completely fixed my problem, not sure how this works as i wasnt even in the game, i was just trying to load up atleast the main menu, but im glad i figured it out.
