Noxware Posted May 18, 2018 Share Posted May 18, 2018 a few things that worked for me: 1) Make sure you are running a compatible version of SMAPI and stardew valley, SMAPI should be 2.6 I believe and make sure the game is updated to the beta version. the link for SMAPI download here if you need it ----> http://github.com/Pathoschild/SMAPI/releases2) Try restarting your computer. I was having trouble getting it to launch as well and after restarting my PC it worked fine! 3) If you are trying to launch the game through steam, make sure you have the launch options set up right. So go to your steam library, right click on the game title and select "launch options", then "properties". Then select "set launch options", from here you can specify that you want steam to launch stardew valley via the SMAPI. If you go into file explorer and shift + right click on stardewmoddingAPI there should be an option to "copy as path" and you can just paste that into the launch options instead of typing out the whole path.
