If you've watched youtube vids and such, one could assume you've done the necessary .ini file edits to enable mods? What do you mean by you downloaded and installed "everything"? What all have you tried after watching the tutorial vids? I had some very frustrating issues when I started tinkering with mods too, but with some research I managed to sort them out. It's scary when the game suddenly just doesn't work at all, but it's usually something simple and relatively easy to fix.
