Some mods work while others dont

So i had some issues with fo4 so i deleted all fo4 files and then installed fo4 again. i added all the extra files that the re-installation didnt. in the end some mods seem too work bust most of them dont. and ive spent about 5 hours too fix this. and nothing works.

what do you mean by "files the reinstallation didn't add"? which files are these? mod files?

have you reinstalled your mods after reinstalling the game? which mod manager do you use? which mods work and which don't?

Well when i installed the game again there was a ton of files missing and i had too add the fo4 custom ini. and so far as i can tell most weapon mods are fine but cbbe bodyslide looksmenu and most armors dont work. and i use nmm.

because if some of the game's files were missing , you can assume the installation wasn't done properly , in which case you should remove the game and try to install it again

also , after installing the game , you need to run the launcher to recreate the ini files and configure the game

 

as for mods not working , how are they not working?

does the game recognize the mods? for example , can you spawn modded armors via console commands? are the armors not visible? what exactly is the problem with these mods?

 

also , have you reinstalled your mods via NMM after reinstalling the game?

if you haven't , you shouldn't expect them to work properly
