Game Mod Conversions

Hello! Recently I came across a mod on the Skyrim Nexus that was exactly what I had been looking for, a kukri mod, reminiscent to that of the kukri from Far Cry 4. It had 4k and 2k texture variants which were both great quality. The problem I had come across with this mod is as follows:

It was for Fallout 4. The mod author may have posted the mod on both the Skyrim and Fallout 4 nexus pages without realizing, or there was a bug with the posting that made it show up on both. Either way, I was disappointed.

I didn't realize this problem until after downloading the mod via mod organizer, seeing an error that said "Missing Masters: Fallout4.esm". I checked the page, found nothing stating that the mod was for Fallout 4 specifically, aside from a short sentence stating "This was imported to Fallout 4 and uploaded here solely for fun and to learn new skills", which on it's own was no cause for alarm (I had assumed he -- the author, had uploaded the mod for Skyrim and converted it to Fallout 4 as well). The only clue to the mod being for Fallout 4 only (in my experience) was finding a screenshot of the kukri in the Fallout 4 inventory, the hud the exact same and everything.

The mod in question is: "Kukri Knife - 4K -2K" by Boric123, here's the link, both on the Skyrim Nexus -- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18944/?tab=3&selected_game=1151, and on the Fallout 4 Nexus -- https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18944. I'm not 100% sure of the reason why this mod is showing up on both sites, but upon a google search of "skyrim kukri 4k", it appears.

My struggle currently is figuring out a way to convert the mod from Fallout 4 into Skyrim. I figure this would be possible based on the fact that it is just a melee weapon, and all I'm looking for is usable textures/meshes; stats are simple enough, and I can make them on my own. I only intend to make this conversion for personal use, and I do not intend to upload any version of it anywhere online for usage by anyone but myself.

I have attempted to apply the mod's textures and meshes to another mod's statistics, to no avail. Upon loading in and equipping the weapon, all that appears is a missing mesh error with an exclamation point. The stats of the weapon are there, the lacking part of this were of course, the textures and meshes. I have limited experience with modeling programs, such as blender, but I have used NifSkope in the past for other games, so my knowledge there is basic.

If anyone here knows a method to convert this mod to Skyrim, or to make the textures/meshes usable in Skyrim, please contact me if you offer any help with this problem. I am not asking for someone to completely convert the mod over for me, just for the help and advice in doing so myself.
