Game fails to launch after update

Today i tried to launch skyrim and i got the skse64 error that says something like "you need to update skse64 because the game has been updated" so i just updated skse64. But when i launched the game the screen stayed black for a while and then it just crashed to my desktop. I tried launching the normal game without skse64 and it was working fine. I dont know if its necessary but here is my load order

My guess is that one of the mods of your list that requires SKSE to work correctly is not compatible with the new version (SKSE 2.0.7).

 

Simply Knock for example is one of those mods that are probably causing the crash but might not be the only one you have installed. These mods will need to be updated in order to be compatible with the new SKSE.

Where did you download SKSE64 2.0.7? Went to silverlock and could not find it.

I downloaded it yesterday from silverlock, it should be there.

I tried starting up the game without simply knock and now it works. simply knock was the problem. Thanks for the help

To anyone experiencing crashes with the newest SKSE version and this mod:

The file causing the crashes is the "SimplyKnock.dll" in the folder [...]\SKSE\Plugins. Just remove this file. You won't be able to use the mod's functions in game but at least you can leave the mod activated without messing up your existing saves.

Same Problem. Was Simply Knock for me, as well. Thank you guys for helping me figure it out.
