F4SE & Fallout .exe updating

Hello, Yes I'm sure this has been asked before many times but I can't find an answer surprisingly, I have auto updates turned off (unchecked the whole box in Steam) but somehow my fallout updated while i was asleep with my pc off unless it ninja'd in while I was afk this morning. I do know how to rollback to 1.10.75 which was stable for me but my question is this: F4SE states it is updated to FO4 client 1.10.82 all the info I've found is directed at ONLY rolling back, Can I update my F4SE to current ver. that supports 1.10.82 since it's out already and if yes that will allow me to play with my mods that were all working yesterday (before 1.10.82)? OR do I Just rollback? also do people usually just roll back b/c they're waiting for F4SE to update? or is there some other reason?

THANK YOU ANYONE for info provided!!

Here's the info you need, as I did this myself a bit ago.

1. If you have F4SE, uninstall it and make sure you remove the F4SE files in the main Fallout 4 folder. With that done, run the installer for the new F4SE.

2. With that done, if you have MCM, that has an update, too, so act accordingly.

3. Now that you have those two done, check NMM's list of your mods and see which ones have updates. Check on those updates. If there is an update, totally remove the mod in question, install the new version, and activate it. Once that's done, check the load order and make any needed adjustments.

4. With all that done, fire up F4SE through NMM and check the mod list in game. All should be well and any moded structures should be intact.

Hopefully this info should help you.
