request nexus forum additional support with smartphones

i would like to request the function to edit my posts through smartphones as there is no way in its current settings.

 

reason i ask this is many times my phone would auto correct and or my thumb press adjacent letters leading to grammatical errors and potential misunderstanding that could be otherwise addressed with a simple edit.

This is already possible. I do it all the time. On my phone I press and hold in the body of the message. The editing options appear on screen.

EDIT (through computer): You got me, it doesn't work. I meant including the editing feature after said post is already posted. :( You made me hold the screen like an idiot, well played..

Hoo-kay... So what phone are you using, with what browser to reach the Nexus forums?

 

As I said, displaying the Edit option (or Quote, on someone else's post) is as easy as pressing the screen for me.

Same for me. As I demonstrate by quoting Thandal from my phone that way. :thumbsup:

 

And now I add this by using "Edit" the same way.
