Nexus pages take forever to start loading

All Nexus pages take at least 2-3 seconds to even START loading. I'm talking about when the browser actually registers the new URL in the address bar. On a normal website, clicking on a link initiates the loading process immediately, after which the loading itself may take additional time, as it should. So this is getting really annoying.

 

What's worse is that on a given mod page, clicking on the tabs (files, posts, forum, etc.) takes even longer. Those take at least 5 seconds of the gear iron spinning before it starts loading.

 

I observe this on all my browsers (FF, Chrome, Vivaldi).
