Help Deleting Mod!

I wanted to use the handsome Ser Gilmore mod, but cannot get his hair to show even after making sure DA Redesigned and Tucked Hair were installed.

I could not get the Dracomies True Textures to work because when I try to open the Non Companion folder I get Access Denied.

I then try to just delete the mods. I disabled, and finally deleted, the mod from my NMM. Then realized they were still in effect. The mods do not show up under Downloadable Content so I cannot disable via the game. I go into the Override folder and notice the mod folders still there. I try to just delete the mods, but it says I need permission from the admin. I run as administrator and still cannot delete the folders. I have read many forums and tried adding permissions and changing ownership but nothing seems to let me just delete these mods. I fear I will just have to delete the game in its entirety.

No, you're not going to have to delete the whole game. Make sure that when you change permissions on those folders, you change them so that they are not "Read only". Also, NMM does not install DAO mods which contain .dazip files properly. Those mods really need to be installed manually and activated using DAUpdater. Go to the folder where NMM places your downloads, find those mods, unzip them and drop everything into your Override folder, then run DAUpdater for the .dazip file. Things should work properly after that.

I did use the DAUpdater and "unziped" all mods that needed it. The problem is I am not able to either open the non-companion folder to get Dracomies True Textures to work, or at least be able to delete the mod folder from the override folder. I'd be happy if I could even get Ser Gilmore back to normal.

Dragon Age Redesigned/ Dracomies True Textures cannot be installed (or uninstalled) via the Nexus Mod Manager. Likewise, NMM won't properly install override mods that package either/or options into the same archive.
