WEIRD ADDS APPEARING

Hello everyone.

I have never posted to the forums before, but have never felt the need to. With that said, I am recently (as in today), been getting VERY annoying adds playing randomly while trying to find mods for Dragon Age Inquisition. I dont know if this is just me, but it ONLY does it on the Nexus Mods page and no other websites. There seems to be a very audible add for sundaes or something and another about pants. The ONLY way I have found to disengage this, is to hit my back button. That only works temporarily though, and comes up again shortly thereafter. I do NOT see any windows with animations or people talking, just the background audio and it also prevents me from scrolling down the page. I am using Google Chrome currently. I have not tried any other browsers, but as stated, this is the first time I have ever had this issue and I have downloaded countless mods for both DAO and DAO A. So IDK. Please let me know if anyone else is having this problem, or if anyone knows how to stop it.
