An Exception Occurred In The Script

Hello!

 

So I'm relatively new to modding and was able to get it to work before with no problems but for some reason I'm unable to get SkyUI to work. SkyUI will be in my mod list but won't activate or install I just get the pop up of an exception occurred in the script. Other mods seem to work fine its just this one.

I have everything I need downloaded (skse) but I really just feel like I have my files in a strange place that it just won't recognize it. But any help I can get is appreciated.

The SKSE scripts are missing.

Potential causes:
* You didn't install the scripts with the rest of SKSE.

Solution:
Get the latest SKSE version from 'http://skse.silverlock.org/' and install it.

Make sure you installed the correct version of SKSE for the game version that you have.

 

As of this posting:

1.7.3 is for original Skyrim

2.0.7 is for Skyrim SE

2.0.8 is for Skyrim VR

and for Skyrim Legendary Edition? Which one should I download?

Legendary Edition IS original Skyrim. There was no difference between LE and obtaining the DLC individually.

Try instal SkyUI in NMM 0.65.2 (After FNIS) - an exception occured in the script

 

Ot... Its a easy.... Just enter *add shell...*

Go to setting in your NMM and check the "Add shell extensions for supported file types", you need to have NMM running as administrator. Hope it helps!

Sorry, I'm using a translator so I hope you understand.

you must start the application with a secondary click in the "run as administrator" option - adjustments -and check the "Add shell extensions for supported file types"

I had to close and reopen the NMM as admin twice check and uncheck the Add shell extensions before that warning went away and it actually installed but it did finally install.
