Tunneler hide cape for DUST

There must be some bug or some automated detection code for tunnelers in DUST, because you just can't sneak past those f*#@ers even if you can barely see them in the distance. So this is an idea for a tunneler skin tabard/cape you can craft and wear above your armor that should lower tunnelers perception / increase your sneak against them.

My vision of it is sleeveless (to avoid clipping) and cut down to a knee length coat from NCR veteran ranger armor pieced together with hood (Veronica's hood, explorer hood, slave scarf as possible prototypes) all textured in tunnelers skin squama pattern.

Recipe for crafting: 25 survival + campfire + 1 turpentine + 1 Abraxo cleaner + 4 tunneler hides.

I did a deathclaw duster retexture that turned out to be serviceable, pic;

I wonder if DUST adds something to the tunnelers, as I don't recall it being difficult to sneak by them in the base game (but I could be wrong about that and my memory is cr*p). It may be their perception is simply too high even if the item suggested gives out a god like bonus. You might need to go with something similar to the the disguise quest used when wearing faction armor. I can look into it if someone else doesn't, but it may be a while before I get to it.

There's definitely some shenanigans going on, maybe some activator when player enters the area, because they have 3 perception both in the vanilla and in DUST (I just checked in GECK), that's the same bark scorpions have and you can parade shaking maracas 3m from them and they won't notice. Yeah I get it, they are supposed to be fearsome giga-mega-uber-predators according to the story, but there's difficulty that's a challenge and there's difficulty that's just a player trolling.

Thanks man, hey maybe there's more sense to use actual tunneler head as a hood, like Vulpes Inculta dog helmet.

Hmmm, maybe. I did do a geck head storm chaser hat, pic;

I won't really be able to say if I can pull off a tunneler hood, until I get it into blender and mess around a bit
